“Keshavrao Pawar Central Library is a central library of Sadguru Gadage Maharaj College, Karad
established in the year 1954 with the college establishment. The library is named after of Ex MLAKeshavrao Pawar. It has an excellent collection of books in the faculty of Art, Commerce and Science & journals and other non-book reading material in the form of CD-ROMs and DVDs. Library offers useful services and resources in numerous formats that meet the user's academic and research needs. Library services are purely based on Qualitative approach rather than Quantitative approach. Bar Code
Technology is introduced for transactions of books.
The important component of Library is “Digital Library” which has a pool of 15 computers connected to internet for surfing worldwide knowledge. Variety of professional e-journals and e-Books subscribed from INFLIBNET NLIST and DELNET (Developing Library Network) are accessible to Faculty, students and Research Scholars. More than 250 students can take advantage of Library Reading Hall facility and has excellent ambiance which encourages and enhances the involvement of students in studies. Enrolled students, researchers, existing faculties and also outsiders can avail the membership of the Keshavrao Pawar Library.
Library remains open from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. throughout the year except Sunday, Holidays.”

• PURPOSE
The purpose of a Keshavrao Pawar Central Library is to serve the information needs of our Students,
Faculty Members, Research Scholars, and other outside users also. It acts as a centre for study and
research for the inmates of the college giving way to an integral department of users.
Being an Autonomous College the Library attracts outside users on deposit and also the non-deposit basis
for academic purposes. We allow open access to the collection and encourage users to browse through the
stacks. We also allow to access information resources through electronic mode.
