The Centre has played a major role in preparing the comprehensive curriculum on various aspects of Functional Sanskrit and in imparting inservice training to the teachers at National level, besides organising seminars and workshops on the utility of the subject. The centre is equipped with an audio-visual lab and a library. Prof. Sripada Satyanarayana Murthy is the Special Officer of the Centre. The centre is preparing Yajna concepts with Audio & Video Documentation. It is preparing Video Documentation of Vedic Samskaras etc. with Scientific outlook.
