The Vision of the Department is to develop it, as an Academic excellence in Solid State Materials and Technology. We are trying to achieve overall development of the students to meet the International standards and to use the knowledge of Physics for academic & Industrial development. The department will take up joint research projects in the field of Nanomaterials and thin films so as to fulfill the requirements of the society. The joint Industry-Departmental research projects will be undertaken to promote and support a comprehensive, innovative and dynamic learning environment that meets the need of a diverse student population.
To provide every undergraduate with experiences and ideas related to physics that will serve as a foundation careers and future higher studies in physics.
